Break the Norm
We aren’t your average consulting company. We are creative problem solvers that don’t tell you how to do something, but work with you to develop a plan that will fit your situation and needs. You stay in the driver seat and we will help you navigate your next moves and remind you that problem solving doesn’t have to be a chore, it is an opportunity for growth and it is ok to make it fun.
Our philosophy is “Foster the person, foster the business”. We take a people centric approach to learn about your business. We learn about you, your people, and your business before facilitating goals, designing strategy, and plan execution. It has been proven that people drive business, so that’s where we start.
With nearly 20 years in program development, leadership, community impact, and collaboration across multiple industries and types of business, we have not just seen, but experienced a multitude of scenarios that may provide you insight.
Meet Will Foster, MPS
Will is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategist. Will has worked in nonprofits since 2008. Beginning his career leading youth in outdoor education and teambuilding facilitation, he has carried those skills for his whole career. Will has his associates degree in Psychology and Human Services, when he pivoted to Penn State University to pursue a career in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Management. Will’s passion has been aiding in the growth of others and creating positive impact. He has lead teams at all levels, was the “Special Projects Manager” for the City of Harrisburg- helping to plan and lead their summer playground programs and city-wide events, then moved on to become a Camp and Childcare Director working solo to rehabilitate struggling programs and teaching and leading diverse teams to create sustainable, long-term programs. In the process created better public awareness of the programs through marketing, community involvement, and strategic networking.
From there, Will was hired as the first Director of a newly formed Parks and Recreation board that served 3 municipalities and was housed as a school district employee. Developing the brand from scratch including the logo, mission/vision/values, long term strategic planning, and worked on bringing a divided community together until COVID happened.
Post COVID, Will held a couple of position before landing at a relatively young nonprofit in Dauphin County, another time he was the first person in that position. Within his first year he was promoted to Executive Director. During his time as executive director, he took a small program with little name recognition or esteem among its circle and accelerated its growth. It began as a business with 2.5 staff and 12 volunteers and took it to 5.5 full time employees with over 50 volunteers in a little over 2 years. In that time, the rapid growth created a constantly changing environment which was expertly navigated. This position afforded him the ability to work with judges, local/county/state politicians, collaborate with other nonprofits, and represent the organization in the media, at events, and with funders (donors/grantors/sponsors), all while working on his Masters of Professional Studies in Organizational Leadership.
Will stepped down from his position and graduated with his Masters degree. He found his way into helping develop a large startup for profit business and discovered that he has a passion for helping others make their dreams come true.
In his home life, Will has his wife, Alexis, who owns her own photography business and supports his endeavors. He also is a dedicated father of 3 kids, 8 years old and under, with two dogs a cat, and a horse. Will serves as a board member for the Partnership for Better Health and the Susquenita Elementary PTO, as well as volunteer coaches for his daughters 6U fastpitch softball team. He loves playing disc golf, pickleball, and partaking in outdoor activities in general.
Meet Alexis Foster
Lexie is the Co- Founder and Chief Everything Else. Lexie has spent a lifetime working in the Hunter Jumper/Equitation equestrian community. Starting at the age of 10, she lived, and breathed all things horses. Her training prepared her for every possibility of horse training, from professional show grooming to training young horses as a junior apprentice. While doing so, Alexis graduated with her associates degree in Photography and Visual Arts. After obtaining her degree, she branched out on her own when she was hired as the Director for a horse program in the Pocono’s. Here, she taught the children how to care for and ride horses safely and competently and while managing staff and interns. When she returned to Central PA with Will, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Technical Business Management. She put it to use managing farm for retired Grand Prix horses and training English show riding at another, all while running a photography business.
In 2017, she took on a new title, “Momager in Chief” when she had her first child. She stayed home and took care of her first born and supported the household (and Will). The long, sleepless nights tending to her child, managing frequent life changes, and navigating the natural identity change that comes with becoming a mother had just made her stronger.
In 2019 and then again in 2022, she double and tripled down on motherhood having another two children and additionally taking care of her mother who has been battling cancer since 2023. The grit and resolve developed from caring for multiple children all within 2 year age gaps, her mother, 2 dogs, a cat, her childhood show horse who is now 27 and her husband is unmatched.
Playing the role of nurse, homemaker, chef, therapist, all around chaos coordinator and her husband’s personal sounding board for challenging situations has created this incredibly level-headed problem solver and change manager. She doesn’t miss a beat and truly embodies the person-first mentality while keeping her eyes on the end result. A dedicated wife, mother, and daughter balancing all of life’s challenges while being newly appointed as the events chair on the Susquenita Elementary PTO and serving as the “team mom” to her daughters 6U fastpitch team while still maintaining a fantastic photography business and tending to her horse, who she has had for 24 years.
She has an eye for greatness, a heart for others, and a mind that can organize problems better than AI. You can find her photography portfolio below.
